We know that being a mom is much more than a job. It’s a full-time-never-get-a-break-don’t-put-that-in-your-mouth-no-means-no-lifestyle filled with ups and downs, laughs and tears and memories by the minute. Sure, it can be confusing and completely overwhelming at times, but hey, that’s why we’re here. We also know that your time is precious and we try our hardest to streamline your visits on our site. Below is a little cheat sheet as to why we use the social media tools that we do.

2) CSP’s FACEBOOK FAN PAGE: We know many of you have not jumped on the facebook bandwagon, but seriously, what are you waiting for?! Aside from pulling a few all-nighters on your virgin fb experience, you will fall in love with fb! facebook is such a critical daily tool for us to use to get information out to you and F-A-S-T. Not only do we post our daily blog on the fan page, but we also have many contests that are only promoted through facebook. This is also an incredible way to support all things local by “liking” all of your favorite Charlotte digs, in addition to our sassy little site:-) Most local businesses offer exclusive promotions for fb fans only. By “liking” a business, you are allowing these businesses’ updates to appear on your facebook news feed. So when you are sitting in carpool with nothing to do but wait, check out your facebook news feed on your smarty phone – there is great stuff out there waiting for you! And if you have a Smarty business or just see something fabulous in your daily world, give Smartyland a shout out on our fan page. If we all use this tool together, it just gets better and better.

3) CSP’s FACEBOOK GROUP PAGE: I know. We’re still fb old schoolers with a facebook group page AND a fan page. Confusing yes. But we just don’t have the heart to turn it off and do the official switch to the fan page only. So we ask you to join and “like” both. Why? The Group page allows us to email you with Smarty Alerts (for now), Fan page does not. However, the fan page is the facebook of the future. So bring it to both!
4) THE SMARTY NEWSLETTER: This little sassafrass is delivered to your inbox every Thursday and serves as a reminder of the informative blogs for the week. We also send special dedicated emails from our sponsors with exclusive CSP incentives only for e-newsletter subscribers. Remember, we only feature businesses on our site that we know and love ourselves, so we would never, ever spam you. Pinkie swear.
5) TWITTER: We would love for more of you to get on twitter so we could more effectively utilize this tool for Smarty Alerts on all the cool stuff we see and experience as we are living Smarty all around town. We encourage you to check it out and see what you think. We do our best to get important information out to you on all areas of the social media tools, not just twitter. This one happens to be the quickest. If you’re feeling really nutty, retweet us – we’ll be BFF’s forever!
