Remember that dream of being lead singer in a band? You ROCKED the karaoke in college. Now that you’re all grown up, your house still rocks, but with your little babes in tow.
No need to squash yours or your babe’s hidden musical talents, you need to check out Music Together of Charlotte. Their fall registration begins today and kicks off on September 8th and runs through November 8th.
This is the SWEETEST music class in town for babies and toddlers! They were voted “Best Music Class in Charlotte” in the 2014 Smarty Awards – we couldn’t agree more!
For those of you not familiar with Music Together, read up on our Smarty Mompreneurs, Phyllis Fulton and Carrie Banwell. These ladies are the creative minds that brought this incredible class to our town 13 years ago. It’s the go-to music class for new moms to enjoy with their new babies and toddlers. I am honored to tell you that I was in the very first Music Together class in Charlotte and I am known to randomly belt out this jingle to my kids on any given day: “Hello, everybody, so glad to see you. Hello, to Ansley, so glad to see you too!” I found some of my closest mommy friends in our early Music Together classes – years later, these ladies are near and dear to my heart!

Here’s the official description of Music Together:
Music Together is children and their grownups joyfully sharing songs, rhymes, movement, and instrument play, both in music class and in their daily lives. A pioneer in early childhood music and movement education, Music Together offers classes for children birth through kindergarten, in which parents and caregivers actively participate. All children are musical, and learn through play, ideally from from their most important adults. Classes are informal- the kids learn through modeling the enjoyment and participation of their adults. And aside from all the benefits of music learning and how it supports other learning, Music Together is just FUN! Classes meet weekly for 45 minutes, and there are seven Charlotte area locations.
Your tuition includes two professionally recorded CDs and a beautifully illustrated songbook with family activity suggestions. Classes include parent education to help adults understand and enhance their child’s music development. Families will also receive a quarterly e-newsletter and access to the national informative website. New families receive a DVD and booklet, “Music Together® At Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically”; a guide for parents and caregivers.
Register NOW, Smarties! These classes fill up F-A-S-T!
