I took my daughter and her friend to the opening performance of Miracle on 34th Street at Children’s Theatre Charlotte and what a TREAT! Smarties, we don’t realize how lucky we are to have these wonderful productions right here in Charlotte, thanks to Children’s Theatre!

Celebrate the holidays with this faithful adaptation of the classic 1947 film. When a white-bearded gentleman claiming to be THE real Santa Claus emerges in New York City, he spreads a wave of love throughout the city, fosters camaraderie between rival department stores Macy’s and Gimbels, and convinces a single mother, her skeptical young daughter and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus is no myth. The whole family will love this funny, poignant take on the cherished story.
The girls loved the show, Mom too! This is a MUST-SEE this holiday season to get you in the Christmas spirit. We liked it so much, I think we may go again and bring the entire fam. The acting was superb, the story line was perfectly delivered and the stage was amazing. We were sad when it ended! I would recommend this for children ages 5 and up, as long as your kids can sit still for an hour, they will be hooked. We made it a night out and hit Brixx Pizza after the show. Performances now through December 22nd at McColl Theatre. There is one act and recommended ages 6+.
Meet & Greet with Miracle on 34th Street Cast Members: Members of the Miracle on 34th Street cast will be available for pictures and autographs for 30 minutes in the Story Jar area of ImaginOn after the following performances: November 29 at 7:30pm, December 13 at 7:30pm, and December 20 at 7:30pm.
Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1pm will be interpreted for hearing impaired.
