We’re big on stocking stuffers in our household. I LOVE to find fun little treats that let my kids know that Santa officially came. For mom and dad, this is the only sign that Santa exists since we don’t usually have “Mom” gifts from Santa under the tree!
I found these super cool utensils at Sur la Table that are going in all four of my children’s stockings – Head Chefs stainless steel forks and spoons. I don’t know about you guys, but we are always losing our good small utensils. These are extra fun because the base is bendy to add a little spice to mealtime.
For the ‘lil chef in your family, check out kinderkitchen products. This will get your kiddies involved in the cooking process for sure!
My girls are O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D with stuffed animals, especially the tee-tiny ones. New from webkinz are Kinz Klips, perfect for backpacks. I found mine at Justice in Carolina Pavilion.
My girls also can’t have enough lip gloss. I found the macdaddy jumbo Cotton Candy Lip Smacker at Justice – that is heaven on earth for my little tweeners!
Boys ages 3 and up will love Automoblox Minis in their stockings, just the perfect size! These are super cool and like puzzles. You can mix and match them as you add to your collection. We love them more because they are eco-friendly green to boot!
Our Santa is big on practical too – we always get new undies (don’t forget mom either with Hankie Pankies!), tooth brushes and band-aids. Check out these super Smarty bandaids at Ouchies. Your ‘lil doctor in the making can decorate her own bandaids, or buy their hippest flavors.
Another fave for stocking stuffers is Anamalz, a green eco-friendly family of toys. I actually bought an entire farm of anamalz for my 2-year-old niece this year, I just think these are the coolest little animals ever. Not to mention, they are made of nontoxic glues and paint, you can rest assured your little one of any age will be safe.
This may sound boring, but batteries are a great stocking stuffer. Dana D recently told me that one of her twins told Santa that he wants batteries for Christmas! How funny is that?!
This is a fun gift for your gadgety child at Cutie Gadget. Peep these fun mini flashlights.
For moms, Ashley recommends:
–The Schick Quattro for Women Trim Style Razor & Bikini Trimmer. I have this thing and it’s brills! Runs off batteries (as do most brilliant things in life…JK!) and you can use bikini trimmer in shower (this baby can get wet & keep on going). It’s a bikini trimmer on one end, razor on other! In the disposable razor section at Harris Teeter and most stores I would think.
-movie gift card great idea for girls night out pass!
-A favorite high end bottle of wine, I get this as treat in my stockingn and love it cause it’s usually something I won’t buy for myself!
I am asking for Guitar Hero 5 in my stocking – really excited to jam out to Coldplay! My hubby, Randy, always gets new hair product, chapstick and facial products in his stocking since he always hijacks my stash all year long!
For Dads, Ash is also our go-to girl, she digs a cute “themed” stocking for dad would be a hit depending your man’s interests…
-BBQ: tongs, towel, his fav sauce with gift card to Fresh Market for top cut meats.
-Sports: Sporting event tickets complete with beer, peanuts, new rain pauncho, t-shirt with fav team
-Travel: Planning an upcoming trip? Book on destination, slippers, journal, new camera or small photo album, Shutterfly gift card.
-Tracy likes lottery tickets and mag subscriptions for her adult stockings.
And last but not least, we have a tradition in our house that Santa makes a new cd mix for each family member. That way our car is loaded with all of our favorite tunes!
What are your stocking stuffer faves?

Love the fork! So cute and fun! Great ideas~
Thank You! Thank You! Stockings are our favorite part of the gift giving..I did the travel thing with my husband this year as he travels a lot and is always taking our toothpaste. So I loaded him up on all the mini travel essentials.
Terrific list! I love the color-your-own bandanges, and that fork is just too funny! 😉
Great ideas! my daughter is getting some fun tights, a hairbrush for her dolls and tape-because she is always taking mine to do a project! Thanks!
We are including disposable cameras. My sons are asking for cameras…so, I thought I'd give them an opportunity to try our their interest first before buying those kids' digital cameras!
I found adorable bear bubble blowers today at Toys & Co. You squeeze the bear and blow into the circle to make bubbles. No more spilled bubble juice!
Joseph-Beth Bookstore has the Anamalz.
