And the Smarty swag-fest continues! One of my favorite kids shoe spots, Tootsies Too, is our newest Smarty Giveaway sponsor. Tootsies Too has one of the most impressive children’s shoe selections in the greater Charlotte area and one lucky Smarty will have the chance to check them out if she wins the $100 gift certificate, compliments of Tootsies Too.
Recently while shopping for my daughter’s Easter/First Communion shoes, I discovered Tootsie’s Too. They have a fabulous selection of white and off-white styles at a variety of prices (think flower girl styles too). Once I stepped foot in this store, I knew there was no turning back! Not only do they have a never-ending wall of super-cute shoe styles for boys and girls alike, but they also have the friendliest and most experienced staff in town. Co-owners, Freddie Rodgers & Molly Blythe have a combined 50 years of shoe-fitting experience. They carry narrows, wides and X- wides and will special order if needed. These ladies are not afraid to get on the floor and spend the time to fit the shoe to your child’s foot..not the foot to the shoe. If that Tretorn doesn’t fit your child’s foot just right, they won’t let you walk out the door with them! Trust me, we’ve tried that one! Tootsies Too also rewards their customers who regularly shop at their store. You can imagine my delight when I received my first “Tootsies Too says Thank You” frequent shopper card. You get $20 off when you buy 10 pairs of shoes. This will not be hard to do with this large and in-charge fam!
One of my all time favorite girls shoes are Jack Rogers sandals. I think I gave birth to girls just to buy these shoes which completely reminds me of my childhood growing up in Florida. Tootsies Too has a huge selection of these timeless sandals (love the daisy switch where you buy daisies in all colors to match your little one’s outfit of the day – see above photo). Another Smarty favorite is the Eliza B line of flip flops, again, my Floridian flare shining through! If you haven’t sampled Eliza B, I would highly encourage you to visit Tootsies. I could be wrong, but I don’t think anyone in Charlotte carries these or at least has this big of a selection. These flips have fun ribbons in every flavor. The Easter bunny always includes new flip flops in our Easter baskets and the Eliza B’s are the flips of choice in the 2009 basket.
We also scored big on the boys selection. I can’t rave enough about Keen’s sandals for boys (and girls too). We had these last summer and wore them every single day – to the beach, to the pool, to a backyard picnic, you name it. These shoes show no sign of wear whatsoever and they are such a hip style (and they fetch some serious coin on eBay, I might add!). So yup, I bought my Keens at Tootsies Too. As well as our Easter shoes, tennis shoes, we even picked up a birthday present for our little cousin – she of course needed some Eliza B’s in her life too! At this pace, I’m pretty sure Freddie & Mollie are going to give me my own personal parking space!
In addition to my faves above, Tootsies Too carries a zillion lines of the trendiest and coolest kids shoes: Lelli Kelly (precious beaded girls shoes), Morgan & Milo (featured in the photo above, very groovy for boys and girls alike), Sperry’s, Naturino, Rainbow, Dansko, Sanita, Ecco, Keds, Kid Express, Merrell, New Balance, Saucony, Asics, Converse, Pedipeds, Primigi, UGG, Willitts, good Lord, I could go on forever! Their sizes start at newborn/0 and go up to a youth 7. In some brands, they carry up to a woman’s 10 (Jack Rogers, Eliza B, Rainbow, Dansko, Sanita). So this place is seriously a one-stop shop for any family – very Smarty!

I love Tootsies! When we shop there, it’s so easy to find shoes for all three of my children. Definitely recommend them!
I love Tootsies also. They are also so kind to my kids and they take the time to find a shoe to fit my hard to fit daughter. They never recommend a shoe that is not just right!
