Okay, this is such a cool place. I can’t believe it took me so long to go check it out. I found out about Blynk Organic through my sister’s friend in Raleigh. He distributes a drink called Bionade, which is imported from Germany, to Blynk. He said it was quite the place and I needed to go see it. I went by myself for the first time and I love it because the food is ORGANIC and local whenever possible. Let me tell ya, there are many, many things you will like about this place. Let’s start with the atmosphere, it is so sleek and modern that I felt like I was in San Francisco or New York. It is a casual setting and they serve fast yet healthy items. I know, practically unheard of….You can totally chill, hang out on Wi-Fi, meet one of your buds or a business associate. There are flat screen televisions flashing news about organic products, why it’s important, etc… Not only are you getting good healthy food but you are being educated about WHY you should make these choices and there were sweet little daisies on every table. They are open for breakfast and lunch and my first visit was for breakfast. I was greeted by Liz who is very cool! She and I chatted while she was getting my order ready. I had a fabulous breakfast sandwich, cappuccino and I tried some of their fresh squeezed juices. Everything was beyond expectation. They also serve breakfast pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit and granola.
You have plenty of options for lunch including sandwiches, wraps, crisps, soups, salads and awesome desserts! Everything comes in recyclable, recycled or compostable containers. How great is that? They have covered every base in making this a truly eco conscious institution. I was so impressed that I thought I would bring my boys there after a day at Imaginon. Just think ladies, a day at Discovery Place or Imaginon could begin with a healthy breakfast or snack. You could also head there for lunch after the kids have played around. You are not stuck with the same ol Chick- Fil-A (I actually really do like Chick-Fil-A, but I get tired of it). It could be a great day out plus throw in some of your friends meeting uptown – would make for a refreshing change of scenery.
My mistake was taking the kids there for a LATE lunch and they were beyond tired. We were doing well with the penne pasta salad and then Austin started in on the cookie. They sell these BIG delicious cookies. Unfortunately, this guy has followed in the footsteps of his mother and has a bit of a sweet tooth. His brother takes after his daddy and would choose fruit or something salty over a cookie. There was no way I was letting this kid eat the whole cookie. So he agreed to share with his brother (and me of course). He decided to withdraw the offer which was then followed by a major meltdown. We proceeded to haul you know what out of there as fast as possible. So I finished my lunch AND the cookie in the car. It was just as yummy as the breakfast I had the previous week. Blynk also provides catering
services. So next time you have an event, whether it’s a mom’s breakfast or a work luncheon, be different and surprise your guests with something new and refreshing. A meal that is healthy, eco friendly and delish! I am confident you will be more than pleased with your experience at Blynk Organic! Blink is located in the lobby of 200 South Tryon Street. Rumor is they may be looking for a second location. I really would love to see a location down here in south Charlotte. I think Southpark would be a perfect spot. Hint, hint.

how pricy is this all organic rest?
I was wondering the same thing. I TRY to buy organic, but it just breaks the bank!
I think it is reasonable for what you are getting. I had a breakfast sandwich for $3 or $4. I think lunch was $6.95 for a half sandwich and a really big bowl of soup. That seems to be about the average price at most places these days. It’s really a fun place and you feel great about what you have eaten that day. I have heard the tuna wrap is fabulous! I just wish there was one closer so I could go more often.
I can handle those prices! Thanks!
Dana – thank you for posting this! it sounds fabulous…I will have to try it out very soon. And I second your vote for getting them to come to south charlotte!Nanine
i have eaten here and its pretty good. my only complaint is that the food is not made to order, so you’re stuck with whatever they have and however they make it. no customization alot of the sandwhiches had sprouts on them, and since i was pregnant, those were non-options. i guess i could’ve taken them off, but i’d prefer something that could be made fresh how i like it. but the soup i had was REALLY good!
same thing here food not made to order and no idea of how bad calorie wise or what’s on it like sprouts (not a pregnant girls option) it is for you until you get the label shock. it is a little pricey made ahead organic gas station sandwiches. The place looks nice though
Had spinach quesadillas today at SP and they were awesome. Such a great alternative to the usual food court menus!
