Well we are waking up to a new President-elect. As I type this, I don’t know who the winner will be but I am thankful that this weekend the election will be behind us and we can enjoy the great opportunities our city offers us. The Pre-Concert Festival puts the musical experience right in kids’ hands, through activities coordinated by the CSO Education Department. Kids meet the instruments of the orchestra at The Musical Petting Zoo, have fun making musical arts and crafts, and are treated to demonstrations by local musicians. Tickets are $8-$10.

It’s a little before the start of the weekend but some Charlotte moms/women are hosting the Sugar and Spice Holiday show at Beverly Crest clubhouse Thursday Nov. 6 5-9pm and Friday, Nov. 7 from 9am-1pm. There are 9 vendors total with items including stationary, children’s appliqued t-shirts, baby gifts, handpainted frames for your home, holiday cookies, photography and more. Bargains prices. Great early holiday shopping.
