YMCA Camp Harrison is calling all moms, campers and potential campers to come spend a weekend at its picturesque campus in Boomer, N.C. this Nov. 3-5. Registration is open now!
Smarties, as a veteran of two spring Mom and Me weekends at YMCA Camp Harrison, I can’t recommend this experience enough! Gather your girlfriends, sisters, neighbors, old friends and their kiddos and sign up! This is such a fun way to not only have a great and meaningful weekend with your children and the gals, it’s also a way to dip some toes into the camp experience. You can help acclimate both children (and their mamas!) to sleepover camp! Or if you have a veteran camper, this is a great chance to experience camp life with him or her! No more pangs at camp drop-off. This time you get to partake in the fun!
You get to enjoy camp activities by day while also having all the meals prepared and dishes done for you! It’s about as close to a real vacation as we mamas are going to get! Plus it’s such a great way to unplug and make new friends, or strengthen bonds with old ones while also making priceless memories with your kiddos too. (As a bonus, Daddy gets the weekend off, which means he’ll owe you one down the line!)
The cost is $1800 per cabin, or $1300 per cabin for Greater Charlotte YMCA members. The cabins hold up to 22 people so the cost comes down the more friends you invite! We had a blast at the spring Mom and Me weekend with five moms and nine boys in our cabin. Read about our experience here!
