Summary: Tuck Fest is a multi-day festival that celebrates the outdoor lifestyle through competitions, exhibitions, demos, and live music at the U.S. National Whitewater Center (USNWC), located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The festival features a variety of outdoor competitions that include trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, obstacle, and adventure racing. The name “Tuck Fest” comes from the Tuckaseegee Ford and Trail, a historical landmark located at the USNWC.

We are headquartered in Charlotte, NC. We purchase overstock inventory from some of the nation’s leading upscale department stores and specialty retailers, and then hold events where we sell this inventory to you, our customers, at substantial savings!
We have been holding these events since December, 2007 and they were an instant success! Our customers loved being able to shop for their favorite designer brands at bargain-basement prices! We typically hold 6 weekend sale events per year.
Each sale brings NEW Brand Name merchandise. Categories will vary, but you may expect to find casual apparel, juniors, formalwear, suits, dresses, outerwear, footwear, lingerie, and MORE at our sales.

Summary:In an effort to help address food insecurity and promote healthy eating, the Uptown Farmers Market was established in Spring, 2020 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Summary: South End is home to a vast array of art in all forms: fine art galleries offering everything from the realist to the experimental, colorful public murals, larger-than-life installations on the Rail Trail and dozens of studio spaces where artists and artisans dream and create.

Summary: Local artist Meredith Connelly is lighting it up again! She is known in Charlotte for her Fairy Ring installation in the 2021 I Heart Rail Trail: Lights installation, and for her Lights art trail at the U.S. Whitewater Center in 2019 and 2020. This installation will be a supercharged version of the fairy ring of 2021. It will include about 100 cast fiberglass fungi of various sizes, representing mushrooms from around the world.Each mushroom has internal light that creates a soft glow around it. About the Artist.
