January is the time Kixx kids’ shoe store in Park Road Village Shopping Center has one of its best sales of the season, and if you’re like me, your kids have worn the heck out of the shoes you bought at the start of school by now. Either that, or their feet have grown a ton – or both! So this is a great time to take advantage of Kixx’ clearance sale, and you’ve got until the end of the day Saturday to take advantage. I was in the store midweek and they still had plenty of stock to sell, especially in girls shoes. The sales staff at Kixx are also great about ordering specific sizes and colors they might not have on hand. They can often get them delivered within a few days to a week and text message you when they’ve arrived!
I’ve been going to Kixx since my three sons (now 5 and 4-year-old twins) were just starting to walk. I am back there any time I need shoes for them. Some moms might prefer the convenience of ordering shoes online and figuring out sizing on their own. I’m NOT one of those moms. I want a professional to figure out what size my child needs, what shoes are actually fitting and which ones will work for now but still leave room to grow. Trying to get a straight answer out of a preschooler about how their shoes truly feel is tough. It’s so nice to have such courteous saleswomen, who are SO patient with kids, figure it out for me!
