Charlotte’s most unique holiday treat is back and you don’t want to miss it! It starts tonight and runs through Sunday. You won’t want to miss our Smarty favorite aerial arts & dance company, Caroline Calouche & Co., in its popular production, Clara’s Trip: A Cirque & Dance Nutcracker Story at the Booth Playhouse! Get your tickets today!
Calouche’s story begins with Clara, a beautiful, single and clumsy young lady, who falls in love with Beau at Mr. and Mrs. Flowers’ holiday party, and they dance the night away. Only one problem. Clara is a passionate dancer but not the most coordinated. She trips, falls and is whisked off to the hospital to learn that her ankle is broken. That night her friends and get-well gifts swirl in her dreams.
Dancers Zoe Flowers and Avi Wolf Borouchoff will perform the lead roles of Clara and Beau. Connor Dealy and Abie Rooney perform the Mr. and Mrs. Flowers roles. The incredible snow scene with 3 white aerial silks and twirling athletic contemporary dancing is not to be missed at the end of Act 1.
Smarties, you will be spellbound by the beauty, grace and artistry of the CC&C dancers. It is a magical experience from start to finish.
