Do you have a young child who has been diagnosed with autism? ABLE Kids might be a resource that benefits your child and your family. ABLE Kids is bringing its comprehensive services for children with autism to the Charlotte community, with locations in Concord and Matthews and is currently enrolling new clients.
ABLE Kids was founded in January of 2016 with the sole mission to help children with autism to improve their quality of life and promote independence by providing support and health services delivered in an empowering, compassionate, and family style environment. ABLE Kids primarily serves children between the ages of 2 and 6 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder level 2-3, requiring 30+ hours per week of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The service also offer Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy for children enrolled in our ABA services.
ABLE Kids works like a pre-school model, offering children a full-day of services from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Children work one-on-one with a registered behavior technician under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Children also have guided group interaction. Importantly, the program at ABLE Kids is small and offers personalized therapy. There are no more than 10 kids enrolled in the program at a time. The goal of these full days is to get kids ready to enter a full-day immersive program when they leave ABLE Kids.
The ABLE Kids team has also recently launched a video series featuring their BCBA’s that will give helpful insight into not only the services offered, but practical tips of how ABA principals can be applied at home and at school.
ABLE Kids currently has locations across Georgia in the Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah metro areas, as well as South Carolina (Columbia, Greenville, and N. Augusta) and is dedicated to helping children with autism Achieve Beyond Life’s Expectations!
