A few years ago, frosé (pronounced FRO-ZAY) became all the rage. Some thought it was trendy, but it has really been here to stay. How can rosé in slushy form be a passing trend? Summer calls for slushies and this is basically an adult slushy.
When I first looked into frosé, I saw people hand shaving ice. Hmmm… nope. Don’t make this hard on yourself. For a super easy, super delicious frosé, all you need is four ingredients and a blender – a bottle of cold rose, frozen strawberries, sugar, and fresh lime juice. That’s it.
Truth be told, I chose these ingredients because they were what I had in the house. There is no one right way to make frosé – experiment!
One of the best things about this easy strawberry frosé is that you can drink it in the evening as a refreshing cocktail or serve it on a hot summer morning at a ladies’ brunch. With all the strawberries, you can even tell yourself it’s basically a health drink.
Ingredients
1 bottle rosé
16 oz. frozen strawberries
½ cup sugar
Juice from 1 lime
Directions
Combine these four ingredients in a blender until slushy consistency. Add a little extra ice if necessary. Cheers!
