Find Fresh Ways to Learn & Grow This School Year
Our Smarty friends at YMCA’s Camp Harrison have demonstrated then best “pivot” we’ve seen this fall with their Fall Remote Learning Camps for ages 8-18.
The 2020-21 school year is proving to be challenging for parents and students alike. From providing safe childcare while you work to supporting your child’s remote learning efforts, to ensuring the family is spending enough time outdoors, Camp Harrison has created programs to meet the needs of our community this school year.
The scenic mountains and wooded landscape provide the perfect backdrop for a year of discovery and development. With programs for individual students and entire families, everyone has the opportunity to thrive at Camp Harrison.

Fall Remote Learning Camp: Ages 8-18
Online Learning, Safe Socialization & Outdoor Fun
This enriching, week-long overnight camp helps kids complete their online education during the day and make lifelong memories in the great outdoors during the afternoon.
In the morning, with guidance from Camp Harrison counselors, students will bring their own technology to the dining hall and complete their daily schoolwork using our high-speed internet. Then they’ll spend the late afternoon and early evening enjoying camp activities like hiking, mountain biking, target sports, climbing wall and more!

Teen Remote Learning Camp: 10th + 11th Grade
This 4-week program is specifically designed for teens, with the goal of providing them with the socialization and community they need to thrive.
In the morning, with guidance from our counselors, students will bring their own technology to the dining hall and complete their daily schoolwork using our high-speed internet. Then they’ll spend the late afternoon and early evening enjoying camp activities like hiking, mountain biking, target sports, climbing wall and more! For this small group of teens, programming will continue on the weekends with a focus on leadership development and team-building.
All remote camps will operate with the same successful health and safety precautions that we implemented for our summer overnight camps. Campers will practice frequent handwashing and only socialize and do activities with their cabin groups.
