*****THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED – OUR WINNER IS AMANDA GUEST*****
With school coming to a close and summer adventures abound, wouldn’t it be great to have an American Girl to join in the fun? We’re excited to partner with American Girl to feature an amazing giveaway of the Joss Kendrick doll and paperback book!
Joss is a fierce athlete born with hearing loss but she doesn’t let that get in the way of her passion for surfing and competitive cheer. Outfitted with her beach-ready outfit, she’s ready to take on all of your kids’ summer adventures. She also features a removable hearing aid in her right ear.
The book accompanying Joss features a positive story about overcoming challenges and trying new adventures all with a great attitude. I love how American Girl often features a variety of girls that so many families can relate with. It’s also a great learning opportunity about acceptance and compassion.
One (1) lucky winner will receive the Joss Kendrick doll, featuring:
– The 18” Joss doll has brown eyes and long layered brown hair with sun-kissed highlights that can be brushed and styled
– Her favorite outfit has a zip-up hoodie top with foil-print waves and denim shorts with embroidery on the pockets
– A pink print swimsuit means she’s always ready for playing at the beach
– Her hearing aid comes with its own carrying case and a brush to keep the sand out of it (plus a backup hearing aid in case she can’t find hers)
– Pink flip-flop sandals are perfect for wearing to the beach
– She includes the Joss paperback book

My daughters would love Joss and take her on may adventures both in the home and out and about.
My older daughter loves to take her American Girl doll everywhere she goes, including the beach and all road trips. Now that my younger daughter is the right age, having her very own American Girl doll would be a treasure!
How fun! Our daughters would love to take her to the beach, or to gymnastics or to their play fort with their imaginary friends.
My 5 1/2 year old would love to win Joss and take her to the beach this summer and help with plants in the garden that we planted during quarantine.
My twins would love it! Quarantine summer and making the best of times!!
My daughter has spent half of quarantine playing with her dolls and Joss is #1 on her summer birthday list!!
My daughters would love Joss! We just got back from the beach where they went booty boarding and built sand castles…they would take Joss on many adventures like that!
My daughter would love to take Joss with her on bike rides, to the park, outside to swim, and on stroller rides to feed the ducks. Plus she can also take her to the doctor with her when she gets her hearing aids checked. They can be twins.
My sweet daughter wants Joss for her Birthday in November. She has lots of anxiety and even more so with this quarantine and what’s happening in the world right now. But what I can say is that I find her talking to her stuffed animal about everything she is feeling and It seems to make her feel better. She just can’t wait to get Joss for her birthday. So I know that if she had Joss here with her she would have another friend he could talk to.
Joss would come along with us on our beach vacations to visit family in Maine. We’ll have to sew her a mask to match her swim suit!
Social distancing is so much easier in Maine.

Joss would come with EVERYWHERE with us! She will have tea time, take our dog on walks, drive around in our golf cart, come to the pool, hangout with the grandparents. You name it she will be by Penelope’s side.
Penelope would love to have this doll. Someone she could care for while mommy is taking care of her baby brother
Penelope would love to have this doll. She loves to watch her dad surf , she would bring her to play with on these trips
My youngest has been saving up for this and has been wanting Joss since the day that she was announced American girl of the year because she’s different than the others. She loves the fact that Joss has hearing aids and wants to read her story! If she wins, she’d “take her to the beach because she surfs” and to all of our favorite restaurants once we can actually go!
My daughter would love to care for Joss! She loves the beach and wants to be a surfer like her daddy. Her little brother arrives in two months and I think she would love to have a doll of her own. ❤️
Joss would have a great adventure surfing with my daughter’s homemade surf board. She’ll probably also weld a lightsaber and defeat Lord Vader with her ninja power.
My 9 year old has started taking surfing lessons on our recent beach trip . She wants Joss so bad to share surfing adventures together for next trip !
My children will take Joss surfing, fishing, kayaking, mud bogging, swimming, biking, hiking, 4-wheeling, and play many different sports; rugby, baseball, soccer, tennis. She will also help with chores on the farm. I’m sure that Joss will have no problem keeping up with the crew!
My girls would love to add Joss to their collection! They have been playing with their American Girls so much over the past few months! They would take her around our neighborhood to play and she could join them on some of the day trips we like to take during the summer!
Lots of shell searches at the beach and pool parties with us!! We love being outside, so Joss will need her SPF and shades!
My little girl loves being outside and in the water all summer, so she would just love this doll!

My girls would take her on adventures to the creek where they have been able to play and find frogs and crawfish during this quarentine time.
Joss would accompany us everywhere this summer. We like to take surf lessons at the beach and I’m hoping we’ll be able to do that again soon. I’m sure Joss would love to see that! 😊
Our kids would take great care of Joss. She’d get stroller rides around the house, trips to the beach, bike rides in the toddler seat, probably even a seat at the dinner table. Our 2 year old girl would especially love her, but our 2 boys would enjoy having her around as well <3

My twin girls, Hadley & Harper, have a Kit doll that was passed down from one of their older sisters. They (and I) would LOVE for them to have a second doll so that they will stop fighting over the one that they have! The twins LOVE feeding “their baby” and tucking her in for bed at night. Joss would go everywhere with them. They love going for walks in their wagon, bike rides, RV trips to visit grandparents in other states, trips to the beach and pool! Joss would make a great addition to our crew 🙂

** Sorry my post above added something I had cut and paste to move around (insert hand over face emoji)***
Brooke has recently fallen in love with “surfer girls” as a way to become more confident in the pool with swim lessons. After a recent trip to FL to see grandparents, she went to her first authentic surf shop and couldn’t get enough – the boards, flowers, and even ukuleles! We now must wind down our day before bed watching surf videos on YouTube! She’s 2.5 and would LOVE her very own AG doll to accompany her to all her activities incl swim and mygym!
My daughter would love to take Joss everywhere with her, to the pool, walks, traveling to visit Grandma in South Africa once quarantine is over 🙁 and also to read to her new friend that will be born on 25 June! Daddy will also teach her to surf as soon as she is old enough 🙂
My niece and I will go to the beach with this doll and learn how to sew doll clothes.
We would love to have this doll to take on trips, read with at night and have by her side during this stay at home time. Thank you.
