And here’s a fun twist on this year’s event that we LOVE: HK is giving back in a big way. Attendees will be able to vote from three nonprofits – the winning nonprofit will receive a $10,000 donation from HK. Voting will take place at the Friday and Saturday events and the winner will be announced the following week. The lucky nonprofits are:
1. Arts for Life – Through visual art, creative writing, and music education, Arts for Life supports children and families battling serious illnesses and disabilities.
2. Present Age Ministries – Committed to combating sexual abuse, exploitation and trafficking of teen girls, with a focus on prevention education and direct services for survivors.
3. American Pit Pull Foundation – Promotes responsible breed ownership through education, programming, and assistance; provides medical and financial assistance for dogs with responsible owners; aids in the adoption of pit bulls to responsible individuals and families.
