Sports, Dance, Art, and More
Charlotte Ballet
This summer, Charlotte Ballet will offer two dance camps for children ages 3-12. Students do not need dance experience to participate in summer camps. Students ages 3-6 can take part in week-long Storybook Camps and students ages 7-12 can enjoy a week-long, all day Summer Arts Dance Camp! Read more here.
Carolina Flipz
Carolina Flipz’s FlipzFest Camp is one of the best in Charlotte! During this fun-filled week kids learn gymnastics skills, team bonding, artistic creativity, healthy living, independence and much more.
This camp is not just for gymnasts but all athletes that like to flip around and have a fun time. Carolina Flipz’s USAG certified instructors maintain a safe and structured atmosphere for all kids to participate no matter what their gymnastics abilities may be. Read more here.
Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen
Do you have a li’l Smarty who LOVES to help in the kitchen? Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen day camp might be the perfect way for him or her to spend a week this summer! Chef Alyssa’s Kitchen has run some of the most popular cooking classes in Charlotte for the last three years, and now it’s the kids’ turn. Their Culinary Camps will teach young chefs fantastic dishes using local and organic ingredients. Children ages 8-18 will learn techniques from their popular adult cooking classes to create life-long cooking skills – and maybe they’ll be cooking for you soon (we can all dream, right?)! 🙂 Read more here.
Charlotte City Tennis
Charlotte City Tennis is bringing a whole new game to public tennis in Charlotte. Having started with a focus on tennis instruction, they have seen huge growth in both their junior and adult tennis programs. Last year, CCT began offering “Push the Pace” Jr. Player Development and High Performance clinics for players competing in middle school, high school, and tournament tennis. This was a natural progression for their current players who began playing as 6-12 year olds. What makes the Charlotte Eagles camps different than any other soccer camps around Charlotte is that they focus more on the camper than they do just soccer. Yes soccer is an important part of their camps, but they strive to make all the kids feel loved and appreciated for who they are. Children’s Theatre of Charlotte
Children’s Theatre of Charlotte’s award-winning Summer Camp program offers performance experiences for students ages 3-18 in a fun, interactive environment. Camps are grouped by age: Early Childhood (one-week, half-day, ages 3-5), Primary (one-week, full day, rising K-2nd grade), Acting & Musical Theatre Performance Camps (one- and two-week, full-day, rising 3rd-7th grade) and Teen Experiences (one- and two-week, full-day, rising 8th-12th grade). Foreign Language League
Foreign Language League has several language camps around Charlotte and Gastonia during May, June and July. All camps are half day, 9am – 12pm, Monday – Friday for grades 1-5. On Friday, we invite parents and caregivers to the last part of camp so campers can show you all they have learned throughout the week. Campers will play games, make crafts, learn songs and have tons of fun all in the target language. Camps will be offered in Spanish, French, Italian and Mandarin. Read more here.

Let Me Run Summer Camp is an extension of the program for rising 4th – 8th grade boys. Charlotte Latin
Looking for a great place to send your kids? Why not check out Charlotte Latin Summer Programs! We offer half-day and full-day camps for children ages 3- to 18-years-old. Seven weekly sessions are available with options for 9 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A free-of-charge, supervised lunch hour that includes lunch and games is available to children who participate in both a morning and an afternoon program. Our summer program, Camp Prep, is a classic day camp that includes theme-based weeks, canteen, and Friday Skits. It is well-planned, well-managed, and sure to enrich campers each week. In addition to the traditional day camp activities, each Monday campers have the opportunity to select two elective blocks that they will participate in each afternoon for the remainder of the week.
