This looks like the cutest event ever! Our friends at Christ Lutheran and Disney present Mary Poppins the Broadway Musical this weekend and next!
Here’s a description of the show from Christ Lutheran:
Mary Poppins will be flying over the rooftops of London and onto the stage at Christ Lutheran Church in April 2016! Produced by Disney & Cameron Mackintosh, Mary Poppins the Broadway Musical is a true crowd pleasing show, featuring the delightful songs from the cherished Disney film including “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Step in Time.” Come take a magical journey with Mary, Bert, Jane and Michael Banks and their parents in this Practically Perfect musical that will surely capture your while heart and have you singing or whistling the whole way home! There are also a few songs and scenes that take this story to a deeper level than the original film. You simply must come and may wish to see it more than once! Net proceeds will benefit The Sandbox, a non-profit organization which helps families of children with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.
This production will be extra special because there are many local families participating in the show and lots of children from CMS schools, local private schools, and Union County, as well as some teachers.
