“Ten years ago, my family moved from Boston to Charlotte. When it came time to choose summer camps for my three children, I looked to Providence Day for a summer camp experience that was creative, fun, and educational. I researched several area programs, but was drawn to Providence Day’s Summer Programs due to the wide variety of activities and programs offered, as well as the cohesive and organized way the information was presented to parents.

My children have grown up spending their summers at Providence Day. My girls have participated in all types of camps, including two-week long theater camps, cheerleading, dance, digital photography, and science camps. My son has enjoyed an outdoor camp called “Roughing It,” “Who Dunnit?,” CSI camp, and even a video gamers camp.

As my children have grown, Providence Day Summer Programs has grown with them. My oldest two children can now work as summer counselors at PDS, and have enjoyed teaching and assisting with preschool camps, while my youngest continues to enjoy theater camps and sports activities.
