Our summer program, Camp Prep, is a classic day camp that includes theme-based weeks, canteen, and Friday Skits. It is well-planned, well-managed, and sure to enrich campers each week. In addition to the traditional day camp activities, each Monday campers have the opportunity to select two elective blocks that they will participate in each afternoon for the remainder of the week. Here are just a few of the elective choices that will have the option of: American Girl Doll, Lego Exploration, Robotics, specialized sports, Writer’s Workshop, or Specialized Art activities. Camp Prep provides an environment that is developmentally appropriate and most importantly, fun! Hear directly from our co-coordinator, Ms. McKeon by watching the video below.
Camp Prep begins June 13th and runs through the week of August 8th. Please note, there is no camp the week of July 4th. The camp day is from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The weekly cost is $325 and includes extended hours (7:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.), off-campus trips, plus Friday pizza lunch!

June 13: It’s a Whatcha-ma-callit: Inventor’s Workshop
This week is all about HUGE ideas! Come build, create, design, play, and learn. Work on a team, pitch a new idea, and get hands-on with new projects. This is a great chance to discover new solutions while using the scientific method. It is a great opportunity for your imagination to run wild!
June 20: World Cup
Learn what it is like to play in an exciting World Cup tournament and represent your favorite country. Throughout the week, we will explore new cultures, backgrounds, and fun facts about different countries from around the world.
June 27: Game On! Game Mania
Are you up to the challenge? This week is all about playing games that test your knowledge, skills, and talents! We will also create games while learning about the necessary components to make an award-winning game.
July 11: Drip, Drip, Splash: Water Week
This week is devoted to all things water. We will learn about lakes, ponds, and oceans! We will create water games and take a trip to Stallings Splash Pad.
July 18: League of Superheroes
This week we will use our superpowers to navigate obstacles, solve mysteries, and untangle webs. We will be on the lookout for villains and acquire “superpowers” to maintain peace and order on the sidewalks of Camp Prep.
July 25: Wonderful World of Wizardry & Fantastical Creatures
Come meet Camp Prep on Platform 9 ¾ for a journey into a world of wizardry and fantasy. From our own interpretation of Quidditch, to making new magical tools and potions, this week will be all about becoming the young wizard you always have wanted to be. Remember to bring your wand and broom!
August 1: Totally Out There: Space Exploration
Get ready for a week that will be out of this world! Rocket building and close encounters with the supernatural will be a definite. We will even get up close and personal with the most distant parts of our solar system. Your imagination will be stretched to infinity and beyond!
August 8: Go For Gold! Camp Prep Olympics
As the world’s greatest athletes participate in the ultimate competition, Camp Prep will be competing right alongside. With Olympic spirit in our hearts, we will celebrate these great games with individual and team competitions. It will be a “gold medal” experience for all!
