So if you know me, you would say, yes, I workout a good bit. I love it. I really do. It truly is my therapy along with my faith that keeps me grounded and centered each week. It is a part of who I am. I grew up playing sports and truly love being active. I loved it so much I was a Health and Exercise Science major at Furman University. After that I continued my interest in a related field of Pharmaceutical Sales where I worked for Pfizer for 12 years. I love studying the human body and ways to take care of it.
So could I help myself out and work out more each week? Of course! Can’t we all? Could I eat a little bit healthier? Yes, there is always room for improvement in that area. I’m one of those work out so I can enjoy type myself of girls. So… When I saw the Flywheel 28 Days to Fit signs posted at Flywheel, I thought this is my chance. I can do this. I can hold myself accountable to be more diligent with my cardio (4 x a week for the challenge) while eating cleaner…. A win, win! Yes, I did not say diet, I said eating cleaner. The Flywheel 28 Days to Fit Challenge combines their fabulous Flywheel classes giving you amazing cardio with a great nutrition plan. The nutrition plan focuses on clean eating and making good nutritious choices. It is as simple as that. Flywheel also matches you up with a coach and I have Jenna who has been fabulous.
I’ve completed 7 Flywheel classes thus far and done my best with the nutrition plan for 11 Days and I feel great. I feel leaner and stronger at the same time. Now, while I’d love to drop a few pounds (who doesn’t want this), I don’t have a set weight in mind. I just want to feel good about myself and maybe have my clothes feel a little loser. I want to be the best me that I can be. I want to have a lot of energy for my kids. I am getting this through the workouts and clean eating. If you’ve ever thought about pushing yourself before to do something like this, sign yourself up. You won’t be disappointed. I have to say I am truly enjoying the 28 Days to Fit Challenge more than I would have imagined. Now, I know I am not done yet, but I promise to report back at the end with my results. Stay tuned… Liz
