Charlotte Country Day School
What Makes a Country Day Education So Extraordinary?
Ready. For. Anything.
Ready to explore. Ready to create. Ready for whatever life has in store for me. Country Day Ready.
Charlotte Country Day School is preparing the world’s next generation of leaders, thinkers, and doers. From junior kindergarten to our rigorous Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, our exceptional faculty incorporates the newest and most sophisticated technologies to teach an innovative and integrated curriculum.
Since 1941 our mission has been to introduce young learners to the world of ideas. Our students learn to explore a variety of interests and develop lifelong relationships, in an environment that embraces each individual child.
Here, you’ll find a profound commitment to lifelong learning, hands-on experiences, individualized attention, and a caring, inclusive community. You’ll find teachers, coaches, administrators, and advisors working in close partnership. Most important, you’ll find a dynamic educational experience that cultivates our student’s intellectual, social, physical, emotional, and creative qualities.
Come experience how Country Day can help prepare your child to succeed in a world none of us can yet imagine. Call our team, or visit during an Open House this week:

Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS)
Mecklenburg Area Catholic Shools (MACS) – A centralized, regional system of schools in the Charlotte area that includes 9 schools that serve Pre-K through 12th grade.
For over 80 years, Catholic Schools in Charlotte have offered a quality education in the Catholic tradition open to any student. Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS) continues this tradition today. These schools, located throughout the Charlotte/Mecklenburg area offer an education that doesn’t simply attempt to fulfill the academic needs of each student, but is committed to building each of the students spiritually, morally, and academically.
MACS schools focus on strong Catholic values and traditions, and make these values and traditions part of every school day from prayer life to behavioral expectations. Respect for one’s self as well as others is an important aspect of a Catholic education and students experience the discipline necessary to develop respect for teachers and other students, as well as for themselves.

Trinity Episcopal School
Trinity Episcopal School is the only K-8 independent school in Uptown Charlotte. Their passionate and innovative faculty are committed to creating scholars by redefining academic rigor using a workshop approach, inspiring a responsibility for students’ own learning, and promoting their curiosity in the classroom and the world around them. As an urban school, Trinity has the distinct advantage of an extended campus that includes Center City destinations such as ImaginOn, Discovery Place, and the Mint Museum.
The Trinity school community nurtures spirituality through the reason, acceptance, and service found within the Episcopal tradition. Trinity embraces the richness of diversity by encouraging students to be socially-conscious and civically-engaged ambassadors of grace, honor and respect in the world. They instill honor through high expectations for responsibility, respect, kindness and integrity, all found in the Trinity Honor Code.
The powerful combination of creating scholars, nurturing spirituality and embracing diversity enables us to inspire, develop and send forth the future leaders of tomorrow.
