So, sharks have been getting a bad rap around the state this summer, but that doesn’t mean we should live in fear. Now’s the perfect time to get educated on sharks! SEA LIFE Aquarium Charlotte-Concord is hosting events all week long for Shark Week using their specifies of sharks: Nurse Sharks, Blacktip Reef Sharks, Blacknose Sharks and Bonnethead Sharks.
Starting today through the end of the week, SEA LIFE will host educational talks and feedings. They’ll conclude Shark Week on Friday, July 10, by teaming up with the American Red Cross for a blood drive. Smarty Perk: Presenting donors will receive a free ticket to SEA LIFE, an American Red Cross t-shirt and a $10 Visa Gift Card from Suburban Propane, while supplies last.
