Smarty Alert: The Foreign Language League offers Italian classes and camps

Ciao! Parlo italiano. That means, “I speak Italian.” Are your kids looking for something fun and educational for the summer? Have they expressed an interest in learning a second language? Foreign Language League is starting Italian for kids in grades 1-5.

Classes will start July 6th at Myers Park Baptist Church on Mondays from 6:15pm to 7pm. Come just for the summer or stay through the school year. Kids will learn practical Italian through games, songs and lots of fun.

Need a last minute camp idea? Sign up for our Italian camp at Myers Park Baptist Church July 20-24, 9am – 12pm. Kids will visit the zoo, go on a picnic, visit the circus and play on the beach all in Italian and all without leaving the classroom. On the last day of camp, we invite parents and/or caregivers to come to camp the last 45 minutes for the kids to sing songs, act out a short skit and allow the kids an opportunity to show their parents what they learned during the week.
