Today’s 2015 Smarty Summer Camp Guide is by The Speech Garden Institute.
My heart is singing this morning. A miracle has happened! The light of understanding has shone upon my little pupil’s mind, and behold, all things have changed!
~ Anne Sullivan
Anne Sullivan, overcome with joy at her ‘pupil’, Helen Keller’s, first bit of progress, witnessed the power of communication. Anne saw the sparkle in Helen’s eyes- the unmistakable shine that says, “Oh, now I get it!” At The Speech Garden Institute, we know that this moment is special, unique, and intimate. Sharing it with your child is our most rewarding experience.
At The Speech Garden Institute, we rejoice in helping you and your child succeed in meeting communication and social goals. Our staff consonantly researches new and innovative techniques to bring more creativity, mutual understanding, social opportunities, and multi-modality learning to our curriculum. For our families, this means more singing hearts!
Our program is classroom-based, enabling language, literacy, and social-skill learning to happen simultaneously, with instant practice of newly learned skills in a familiar, natural environment. With expressive language, receptive language and social skills embedded into every activity, therapy happens all day.
From a mild articulation delay to a more significant language or social disorder, we are experienced and ready to help. Visit our website to learn how we can help your heart sing, too.
