Today’s 2015 Smarty Summer Camp guide is by Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools.
Do your kids need some fun and excitement this summer? Try one of the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS) summer camps! Our all-day camps offer a huge variety of activities and experiences for kids in a safe and stimulating environment. Themes vary each week, and campers have the opportunity to choose among many fun activities empowering the child to design some of his or her day.
Here is a small sampling of our day at MACS Summer Camp:
– Field trips (3 per week)
– Sports galore
– Creativity in art
– Enrichment Programs/Weekly themes
– Strategic Games
Field trips include Monkey Joes, Sports Connection, local parks, bowling, ice skating, roller skating, Zootastic, Patterson Farms, Discovery Place, Summer Stage/Providence Day plays, Adventure Landing, Kannapolis Intimidators baseball and many others.
Camp dates run weekly June 15-August 7 from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. Ages: rising Kindergartners (must be 5 years old to attend) through rising 7th grade. Cost is $175/week 3rd child and up $130 per week. Pick from one of three locations – St. Mark in Huntersville or St. Matthew and St. Patrick in Charlotte.
