Smarties, pack up your ski and snowboard gear, Snowmageddon 2K15 is here! Guess what that means for us? AWESOME ski weather this weekend – fresh snow and powder! Lucky for us, Beech Mountain is a hop, skip and a jump from the QC. And this weekend is the perfect weather for a spontaneous family ski outing!
Our fam just went to Beech this past weekend. My kids learned to snowboard last year and are forever hooked. I was surprised at how easy and naturally it came to them. I’m thinking their generation may bypass skiing altogether, snowboarding oozes cool on all levels. Even dad, who has been practicing his ripsticking skills for months, learned to snowboard last weekend. And of course, he’s a pro – that’s where my kids get all of their coordination from:-) If your kids can ripstick, then they’ll be tee’d up perfectly for the kick-booty Burton Learn to Ride Center at Beech.
