Charlotte Preparatory School is the only Pre-K-8 grade school in Charlotte that offers a Pre-K Montessori educational foundation that then transitions into a rigorous, yet nurturing, Lower and Middle School academic experience. We also place a heavy focus on multicultural education ensuring our students are exposed to the world and our neighbors around us.
One of our most recent initiatives has involved the adoption of our new math curriculum – Math In Focus: Singapore Math (MIF).

We have put tremendous focus into our STEM program. Starting in our Montessori Early School, students are exposed to STEM components across their curriculum. Presenting new curriculum materials and providing state of the art Lower School classroom along Science classroom furniture and equipment in our STEM Lab are a top priority.
While we present an advanced curriculum, we are child-centered and we focus on the student’s social situation and developmental needs throughout their Pre-K through 8th grade experience.
At the end of the day, education is about children, about giving them opportunities, opening their hearts and minds and watching them discover life.
