Big Screen Big Science featuring The LEGO Movie

Join us for a family movie night experience featuring The LEGO Movie and plenty of hands-on science fun.
A lowly LEGO figure (voiced by Chris Pratt) joins a group intent on battling an evil force after a case of mistaken identity in this computer-generated comedy. Will Arnett co-stars as the voice of Batman, who along with Superman, make appearances in the Warner Bros. picture. Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman, Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Alison Brie head up the rest of the voice cast. The film is rated PG. Runtime: 101 minutes.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m. with activities that test creativity, engineering and design. Are you a master builder?
• LEGO Creations – What can you build with LEGOs? Show your creativity and skills by constructing your own LEGO scene.
• CitiBloc Building – See how skyscrapers are made and explore ways to build a tall, yet stable structure.
• Floating Boats – Build, test, evaluate and redesign to create a boat that can hold the most weight.
Snacks will be available for purchase at the Shop Science concession stand. Seating for the movie in Discovery 3D Theatre starts at 6:45 p.m. (The LEGO Movie will not be in 3D.)
