Bedside Manor is one of my all-time favorite shops in Charlotte. Every time I go in that fabulous store, I just want to crawl into one of those fluffy and fancy beds, and take a 3-day nap. In fact, I’m pretty sure this bed has my custom monogram on it. I’d like to take all of their store displays, load them up in the Smarty Party and deliver them to my home. They are absolutely H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y!
Bedside Manor has been a Charlotte institution for over 18 years stocking the largest selection of fine linens in every style as well as beautiful home decor accessories and gift items. I recently spent a few hours with the lovely owner, Laura Fitch, and marketing director, Lisa Gilleland, and caught up on all things bedding and home decor. I left wanting to redecorate my entire home, and watch out, Randy Plym – I just might!
These are a few of my favorite things in Bedside Manor:
Bedding:
Sferra Brothers – I will never stray from this brand of bedding, it is worth every penny, pinkie swear. Think about how important sleep is in your life – it’s the foundation of health and it’s the last place you should ever skimp. Bedside Manor has the largest selection of Sferra in the Charlotte area. Rumor has it that when celebs hang in Charlotte for filming (and we all know who they are:-), they head into Bedside Manor and pick up their fave sheets because, who wants to sleep in hotel linens?! Sferra also has a lower price point with their Grande Hotel line. Once you go Sferra, you’ll never go back!
Pine Cone Hill – Pine Cone Hill has a large selection of luxury bedding at a great price point. They are known for their Matelasse coverlets, but they also have the softest robes and other accessories that you will most certainly add to your birthday wish list.
Down: The Lucerne down collection is top of the line and a best-seller. They have the highest quality down and certified hypoallergenic – it’s too good to be true!
Linen Wash: Only the finest cleaning products will do if you are going to invest in good linens. The Laundress is an excellent product that you can use for all of your linens. They also carry an amazing linen wash by LeBlanc that will get even the toughest of lipstick stains out while protecting your fine linens.
Bath:
Matouk – Most plush towels ever. Love, love, love the Guest House Collection.
I also fell in love with these applique shower curtains by Matouk.
The most divine bath products are by Lollia & Niven Morgan. It’s just too hard to decide on one!
Candles & Diffusers:
Lafco is my favorite candle to date. Master Bedroom had me at my first sniff.
Bedside has a huge selection of Nest candles and diffusers which are amazing as well. Bamboo products are my favorite, I have one diffuser in every room.
The best selling diffuser is Antica Farmacista. They can’t keep the lemon, verbena and cedar in stock. That is my very next purchase for sure!
