This came in from Smarty Ashley, who has been on a Smarty sabbatical for WAY too long now, we miss you girl:-) Thanks, Ash, for making me smile & sob at the same time!
My Walker lost his green frayed lovey in a Target Midtown parking lot two years ago. It was left in the kiddie cart near the steering wheel. I drove back and searched high and low to no avail. If anyone has seen him, please let me know!

I saw this from a friend on FB today, I totally got teary-eyed – so sweet!
oh dude. that kid is going to hate that video when he grows up!
Only a mother could accomplish this! I love this story because it speaks to the lengths a mom will go to for their child’s heart!!! Great job Ashley! What a great story this will be, for a life time!
OMG. that is so precious! I actually got pretty teary!!’
This is amazing! But it’s not just what a mother will do…dads do this kind of stuff too! My nephew left his blankie at daycare, and my brother-in-law actually climbed through an unlocked window, retireved the blankie and back out the window. This was 35 years ago, guess burgular alarms were not used as much. But he probably would have done it even if the place was armed!
That makes my heart hurt! My daughter lost her kee-kee several years ago… the last place web saw her was in Home Depot. I don’t think either of us have ever given up hope that one day she will turn up.
My son is 7 1/2 and has a very similar monkey (brown) that was given to him when he was 1 yr old by his grandparents. Just like your son it traveled everywhere with him. He would always rub it against his face while sucking two fingers. We have lost “Monkey” so many times over the years and to date he has always found his way back to my son. My friend told me how similar your story was to ours and I must admit I was bawling watching the video. I could relate to every single emotion you and your son were feeling. Thanks so much for sharing.
