I like to save my big spending for things I really like – traveling, clothes and wine. Diapers and baby wipes? Not so much.
With my daughter, I remember consistently spending $40 – $45 on a big box of diapers, and having to go to Babies R Us (overwhelming) or Target (can’t get out of here without spending $100 on extra stuff) to get them. Thankfully, the game has changed.
Enter Amazon Mom. Save 30% off (plus your coupons) of regular prices on diapers and wipes, and get them delivered to you for free. Here’s how it works for diapers:
• Sign up for their Amazon Mom program (free) – you get 15% off diapers/wipes and free two-day shipping for up to a year – on all Amazon purchases.
• Review their Subscribe and Save items program and pick your diapers or training pants and how often you want them to ship you a box of it. Voila – they tack on another 15% off automatically. You can stop or change the subscription service whenever you want.
• You can also stack coupons on top of this. I’m pretty sure you can use the regular $1.50 coupons you see all the time but the real deal right now are the “$10 off any item in the Amazon baby store” or “20% off diapers at Amazon” coupons that you can find in BabyTalk and Fit Pregnancy magazines (I think they are also available in Parents or Parenting). Hint: you can probably grab one for free from your OBGYN’s or pediatrician’s office.
If I never set foot in a big box baby store again, it will be too soon.

*It did say online that you can get 15% off if you buy two boxes of this size, which would bring the price down to $.21/diaper plus shipping.
**Diapers.com has a 30% cash back deal (which is really a store credit) for new customers who buy diapers, but it’s limited to 3 months and $300 worth of purchases.
***Amazon will only let you use one each of these coupons if they start with the same letter. I’m not sure, but maybe different magazine coupons start with different letters. At any rate, you may only be able to get this deal once per Amazon account.
What are your tips for getting the best deals on diapers without leaving the house?

We never leave the house for diapers since we use cloth. I have spent less than $200 on diapers in over 2 years. I have a hard time understanding how other people can afford to diaper their children.
OMG, I had NO idea you could find diapers this cheap. Thank you for making me wake up and smell the coffee!
Cloth diapering is an even better option. I recommend Ivy's diaper service. They pick up your dirty diapers at your doorstep each week and drop off clean ones. They even have bamboo diapers. And it's less expensive.
I believe you can use the coupons for cloth diapers and supplies as well.
Wow!!! This is great information.
Very helpful information…!!
Thank you for the information! We buy our diapers at Costco which we find cheaper than Babies R Us or Target. Will check out Amazon. Day cares require disposable diapers so no cloth for us.
