Showcase: A Vintage and Classic Christmas

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! With the holiday season right around the corner, we have created two printable collections that will make holiday entertaining and gift giving a breeze. Anders Ruff Custom Designs, co-founded by Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff, is based in Fort Mill, SC, specializes in custom invitations and coordinating printable design accessories. Our printable graphic design collections are both versatile and affordable, whether you want to accessorize a party or simply make a gift/treat bag more personalized. The printable collections are sent via email and formatted in a print-ready digital PDF file with easy to follow instructions.

We style photo shoots for each collection to share creative ways to use our printable designs and offer easy tips for entertaining. We are thrilled to showcase today two shoots, a Vintage Holiday Room featuring our Vintage Holiday Design Collection and a Classic Holiday Dessert Table featuring our Classic Holiday Printable Design Collection.




The Vintage Holiday Printable Design Collection by Anders Ruff

We wanted vintage themed designs with some modern elements to bring back your favorite childhood memories (and create new ones)! We love the festive pink & blue colors that were so popular years ago.

Accessories/Decor:
* One of the main accessories that we used throughout the design process were Shiny Brite ornaments (new & antique Christmas ornaments). We put them in tall glass topiaries and also hung them from an old-fashioned white feather tree. These ornaments inspired our entire vintage design collection!
* We used several small aqua and cream feather trees for our dining table, as well as mercury glass topiaries and German glass glittered accents throughout (such as the dessert table wreath, and gift packages).
* We wanted to showcase our candy canes in unique ways, so we put them in antique candle holders and hung them from a white wooden wine rack.
* On the table you will notice true antique silver glittery linens, mixed in with modern day china. The feather trees and topiaries are displayed on an old white cabinet door to provide various heights and interest.
* Everyday white serving platters were used for dessert displays (food labels in our printable package were used to designate each food item). We also lined the buffet table with wrapping paper and hung customized (to match this collection) Christmas stockings by Etsy seller chicmommybags.
* Serving platters were lined with chocolate coated sunflower seeds and craft Itsy beads to add color and contrast.
* Grosgrain fabric in a pink/red/green/blue striped pattern was placed on the bias on an oversized artist canvas to add a bold statement to the dessert table backdrop.
* Dining chairs were decorated with pink satin ribbons and our garland snowflake logo.
* We showed unique packaging/decorating methods for favor boxes, wine bottles, and soda pop bottles and personalized them with printed favor tags, hang tags, and party logos.

The Classic Holiday Printable Design Collection by Anders Ruff

This collection offers any host or baker the ability to personalize many items for the holiday season. We wanted a classic but chic design collection – something that offers a lot of versatility.?

Accessories/Decor and DIY Projects:
* Our main accessories were the peppermint topiary trees. This is a great DIY project. We purchased floral Styrofoam cones and used hot glue guns to adorn the cones with unwrapped peppermints.
* We glued old fashioned peppermint sticks around a low ball glass as a display at the top center of the dessert table, and adorned it with a coordinating logo from the printable collection.
* Several of the shots show 3 bright colored felt wreaths on the backdrop (for a brighter color scheme). These adorable wreaths can be purchased on Etsy from thechicadeeshop. Other shots show a classic wreath with berries.
* Simple red wrapped boxes add height to the table for desserts placed near the back of the table.
* Everyday white serving platters were used for dessert displays (the food labels in the DIY package used to designate each food item).
* We lined the serving platters with Red Hots candies to add interest and contrast.
* We purchased outdoor fabric with a holiday red/white holly berry pattern to add a bold statement to the dessert table backdrop.
* Printed garland logos from our collection were hung from the front of the table using simple matching grosgrain ribbon.
* Our display features unique ways to wrap and label gifts, as well as personalize wine bottles.
Both the “Vintage Holiday” and “Classic Holiday” printable design packages include 20pages. (Each with over $275 retail of graphic designs)
