Now that the big kids are back in school, it’s the perfect time to bring the ‘lil preschoolers to check out Plaza Fiesta’s Happy Zone. For those of you not familiar, PZ’s Happy Zone is the Southeast’s largest and cleanest indoor playground/arcade/birthday party pad.
Happy Zone is a huge mecca of tunnels, slides, and hide-outs for all ages. Kids love it and parents do too b/c it’s affordable entertainment for hours, literally. There is plenty of seating for moms & dads. Make sure you bring your book or your iPad, because your kids will never want to leave, thank the Lord their sessions last for three hours at a time! It’s also fun to set up a play date with your favorite gal pal since you’ll have plenty of time to catch up. After your kids run their hearts out, you can wind down with the arcade on your way out. Such a hit with our fam. And Walker would be mad at me if I didn’t mention the candy store too – he’s such a sugar junkie! 
Happy Zone is dedicated to cleanliness and professionalism. They thoroughly sanitize the entire play zone before each new session. And their attendants are all CPR certified. Very impressive. Smarty tip: don’t forget your socks. They won’t let you in without them!
One of MY favorite things about going to Plaza Fiesta is the variety of incredible authentic restaurants in the food court. My entire family L-O-V-E-S La Poblanita Taqueria – best Mexican food in town and they even have kids meals.

You say "all ages," but what is a realistic age range?How does it compare to Monkey Joe's?
I think timing is key here which is why now is such a good time to try it for preschoolers. It's all a matter of your comfort zone. I would say 3 and up is ideal, but I've seen many 2-year-olds hooping it up there. If you go when CMS is out of school, then it will be a little tougher for the little ones. How does this compare to Monkey Joes? I say it's better. There is more room, more hideouts and a full on arcade, plus the food rocks. That's just my personal opinion. I think monkey joes is hard on the little kids b/c they are always bouncing into each other. And if you put a 4-year-old up against a 10-year-old, the outcome will not be pretty in a bouncy house scenario. So try plaza fiesta for yourself. You might like it, or not. You'll know when it's right for your fam;)
I think Monkey Joe's is dangerous for kids of all ages. They need to separate by age group. And I can't believe they don't allow private parties like Space Kidets does.
FYI…last time I was there I had missed the beginning session time by a few minutes and would have had to wait 45 mins until next session began but the girl at the counter said that if you pay $1.00 more per child they could enter without having to wait and were, not sure if this is offered all the time but worth asking if you don't want to wait.
To the 1st poster: I went a couple of years ago when my twins were 2 1/2 years old (and it was only $1 for entry!) I don't know if they've changed anything, but at that time I swore I would not come back until they were 4 years old, as the slides were so big and so fast that they almost broke their necks! And it's easy to lose one at the top – I wouldn't worry about them now, but now I've got a 1 1/2 year old, and no way would I bring her there. I have taken the 3 of them to Monkey Joe's on a slow night, and it was great – but it wouldn't be so great if there were big kids there. Just my opinion!
I would say a brave 2 1/2 to 3 is a good age to start. I still have to climb and slide with my kids ages 2 & 4 because they are not comfortable navigating the tunnels and slides by themselves. Plus the place is so big it makes me a little nervous sending up by themselves. The entire area is fenced in and parents and kids wear the same numbered wrist bands which are checked when leaving but still. Parents who sit and watch please make sure your kids are well behaved. Nothing drives me more crazy then unsupervised kids at play areas and pools. Even the best behaved ones seem to get too rough and forget their manners when the parents are lounging and not paying attention.

The way it is designed, I would say it is suitable for walkers and up. Now, the little ones are not going to do the slides and rope ladders, but there is a lot for them to explore on the ground level, even on the perimeter. My son was 2 1/2 when we first went and he loved it – went straight to the top! If your kids like adventure, are interested in exploring, have relative good balance and sense of self, I would say 2 1/2 is a good age to roam the obstables with minimal parental support. He's 3 now and can't wait to go back. My daughter who is one will enjoy watching the big kids from ground level.
