This year my girls decided to finally do swim team. I feel like we have joined a new “club” so to speak, kind of like soccer moms, but a summertime version. I’m a little overwhelmed with the practice every day thing, but my girls are skipping out the door every day full of excitement and anticipation, so I can’t complain.
You can imagine this Smarty mama immediately contemplated fashion and function, as I often do. And I remembered stumbling upon Eddie Carter and her Poolotz at the Holiday Gift Closet shopping event at Christmas time.
Poolotz are what all the cool swim team kids are wearing as an alternative to the traditional cover-up. This invention, designed by a local mompreneur, is the perfect idea for summer swimmers. Poolotz are a functional version of wrapping your towel around your waist and are something that kids can play and run around in. Not to mention, they can just whip these on after a pool outing, get in the car and not get your carseats soaking wet. BRILLZ!
Poolotz come in capri pants, shorts, and boy shorts in several presh patterns. Our entire fam will be sporting these to our pool and I’m hoping to reduce the insane # of wet towels that I bring home. Now my kids can wear their towels home!
CSP gives Poolotz a thumbs up for sure! Smarty Alert: Mention CSP and get 20% off through July 1st, thank you very much Eddie Carter with Poolotz! See ya at the pool, Smarties!

Those are fabulous! I wish they came in smaller sized – it's going to be a long time before my little guys can wear a 6!
Hold on, I'm positive these come in a size 4 because I'm ordering some for my boys. Maybe at this very moment, Eddie is out of this size but should have more in stock soon. Let me check with her and I'm sure she'll give you an update!
yes my daughter has a pair and loves them!
We do sell size 4 which typically fits a 3 to 4 year old. Please email me with any questions.
Are they made out of a thick terry cloth towel-like material?
They are actually made out of beach towels and are quite absorbant!
So are you saying my kids aren't cool because they don't have them??
