What to do when your little princess refuses to wear her monogrammed bloomies! How can she possibly promote herself from one of the most adorable girly panties ever invented?! When my Isabel flat-out refused to wear her bloomers in her T-K class last year, I found myself aimlessly shopping for that perfect replacement. I settled for summer Target cotton shorts, but felt entirely defeated. These just didn’t cut it when she was wearing her fancy Lilly duds on the outside and scruffy gym shorts underneath. Enter the next best girly invention, Monkeybar Buddies.
These are the T-I-C-K-E-T for little girls who aren’t afraid to wear dresses on the playground! Girls can wear their dresses and skirts worry free when they’re hanging around upside down in Monkeybar Buddies. The ultimate in comfort, Monkeybar Buddies were created not to bunch, stick to your dresses, or look bulky under skirts. They are also great under athletic shorts or over dance leotards for an extra layer. We picked up a few shorts and will absolutely invest in the leggings when it gets a little cooler. LOVE them! We found ours locally at Alphabet Soup (new location in Morrocroft Shopping Center where Franklin Covey was and next to Monkees) – remember, we Smarties like to support our local businesses first. You can also just order off the website, here ya go: http://www.monkeybarbuddies.com/.

I had NO idea anything like this even existed! This is why I loves me some Jen P! You always got scoop on the goods! Thanks girl.
Are they really that much better than similar looking shorts and leggings you can get at Children's Place, Walmart, Target, etc, for a fraction of the price? I guess I will need to check them out because right now I don't get it. Also, do you monogram them like bloomers?
At $18 a pair, i'll stick to shorts. great idea, just too expensive.
I'm sorry Target defeats you – I like their stuff 🙂
I LOVE these! I have seen these at my daughter's school and could never figure out where to get them. Didn't even know the name of them. They are so cute!
I have an abnormally skinny, tiny, tiny little girl who is 6 but still wears 2t. She is not into wearing "baby" clothes and is still too small for soffe sizes (Target 4 falls off of her). Not to mention, these feel like butter – swear to it! I know, price tag is not conducive to recessionista fashionista, but my Izzy LOVES these and wears them every day under her jumper. Makes uniform wear just a little more flavor-ful:-)
you can also find them at Fancy Pants!
