Hello Smarties. It is shaping up to be a great weekend. Charlotte is packed with activities from the Quail Hollow Championship to all the great things just for kids! Our area youth are showcasing their acting talents at Children’s Theatre and at Davidson Community Players. Community celebrations are spotlighted in Matthews where you can dance the night away and at Town Day in Davidson. The Charlotte Knights are home this weekend and kick off with a Family Fun Fest. Davidson Community Players opens The House at Pooh Corner this Thursday, April 30th with a dedicated to founder Constance Welsh. This is the first all youth fully staged production produced through Davidson Community Players youth theatre, the Connie Company (named for Welsh). It is recommended for ages four (4) and up. The House at Pooh Corner, directed by award winning director Melissa Ohlman-Roberge, will have eight performances through May 9. Cos is $7.00 per person. Everyone loves the spectacular free fan festival, which will open just outside the ball park three hours before game time.
