Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is surviving the heat. While I love Charlotte, the heat and the humidity are not high on my list of favorites. On to the weekend – there are several great things happening, the most important is celebrating the dads in our lives.

Symphony Park at SouthPark

A summertime tradition, each year the Charlotte Symphony performs five weeks of FREE concerts under the stars at Symphony Park/SouthPark and around the region. All concerts begin at 8:15 pm and include a wide variety of orchestral favorites performed by the Symphony. Albert-George Schram conducts. Sunday’s perforamnce is CELEBRACIÓN SINFÓNICA.

FYI They Might Be Giants ticket reservations “sold” out a few weeks ago. They will release any unclaimed reservations 20 minutes prior to each showtime. The next concert is the Jellydots and reservations are supposed to start Monday.
