SouthPark Boot Camp
Founded by Smarty Mompreneur, Susan O’Neill, SouthPark Boot Camp is an hour long exercise class designed to be challenging for all levels of fitness. Focusing on elevating your heart rate while strength training, using your body weight as resistance. A fun way to get in shape and push yourself to a new level of fitness!
Great results are achieved when muscles are worked to fatigue while the heart rate is elevated. Moving muscles in new ways and using different exercises keeps fitness fun and challenging! No, you don’t need to “get in shape” before coming to SPBC, that is what boot camp does. Already an athlete? You will push yourself to a new level! Take one hour for yourself a couple times a week to feel and look great!
The Whole Tulip blog
Founded by sisters, Adri Warrick and Carolyn Hallett, The Whole Tulip is is a local Charlotte blog dedicated to help families nourish themselves with healthy and whole foods. Adri and Carolyn are certified holistic health counselors and the founders of the food blog, The Whole Tulip. Their goal in starting The Whole Tulip was to provide easy healthy whole food recipes that everyone can enjoy and help people crowd out the processed foods that fill so many diets today.
Adri is a licensed neuromuscular massage therapist and a certified health counselor. She has been practicing massage for 10 years, specializing in sports related pain, deep tissue work and pre-natal massage. She also practices cranial sacral work helping to improve the central nervous system for children dealing with sensory problems. Inspired by her younger sister’s experience at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she enrolled knowing that it was the next step in her journey learning how to take care of your whole self. They were both trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, they help people create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. They offer one-on-one counseling sessions over the phone and small group nutrition classes.
Adri is married to Will and a mother of two boys Henk (6) and Chase (2).
Carolyn left her career in political fundraising to pursue her interest in nutrition. She graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City last summer and recently moved to Charlotte with her husband, John. They are expecting their first baby in September. Her practice is focused on preconception, prenatal and postpartum health and wellness. She became interested in focusing on women’s health during the childbearing years when she entered this phase of her life. She found once she became pregnant, she was more dedicated than ever to creating the best possible environment and putting the best foods in her body for the health of her growing baby.
