One Girl Inspired is a monthly subscription box for tween/teen girls to inspire, empower and motivate them to believe in themselves, aspire to dream big, be their best selves and make their own mark on the world.

What gave you the idea?
With a teen daughter of my own, I was looking for a way to share a positive message during these years that can be difficult to navigate. There is so much negativity on social media and in the world that I wanted to provide our girls with the inspiration they need to be and feel successful in all areas of their lives so that they may grow into strong women.
After talking with other moms regarding the difficulty involved when communicating with our daughters, I had the idea to positively present messages it in a subtle, less preachy, way so it might be more well-received. It’s so critical in these years to lift our girls up and build their confidence and self-worth, but I believe when they believe in themselves, they can change the world.
What ages would love One Girl Inspired?
Both tweens and teens have loved our One Girl Inspired box. We really target the Middle School and early High School ages but have boxes going to girls ages 11-18 currently.
How do subscriptions work?
We have multiple subscription plans that include monthly, 3-month, 6-month and annual plans. But there are no contracts and subscribers can cancel anytime. There are discounts with the 3- and 6-month plans and our annual plans receive a free box. We ship boxes on or around the 4th of each month. Order by the 30th of the month for the next month’s box. Packages arrive to most US addresses within just a few days of shipping. Our subscriptions renew on the 11th of each month so you can make any changes to address, billing info or simply skip a month if you need to.
What are some examples of goodies you’ll get in each box?
Each month we thoughtfully select 4-6 fun and inspiring tools that coincide with a different theme. Items may range from journals, personal development books, tech gadgets, cool school supplies, jewelry, self-care/beauty items and much more. We highlight each of our boxes on both Facebook and Instagram each month so you can also follow us there @onegirlinspired to see more of the items and boxes we’ve shipped to date.
We think One Girl Inspired would make a GREAT gift – is this doable? If so, how do you gift a box or subscription?
Absolutely! When you are on our site, you have the option to select Give A Gift. You can still select one of our plans based on the length of subscription you want, and whether or not it will automatically renew (most are non-renewing). With this option, you can leave a gift message which we’ll include in the box.
What are your plans for One Girl Inspired?
We are just one year into the subscription box, so I hope to continue impacting as many young girls as we can with messaging to build their confidence and self-worth, but I also have many ideas to expand the brand into various multi-media channels down the road.
How do you hope One Girl Inspired impacts a tween/teen girl?
I hope our messaging provides inspiration and empowerment to girls that builds their self-confidence so they don’t define themselves by “likes” or “follows”. I hope it helps them embrace their own uniqueness and gives them the motivation to dream BIG. I hope it supports their internal strength and drive so that they know they can do anything. I hope it lifts them up and that they feel encouraged in their journey to be the best version of themselves.
