Smarty Save the Date for one of the best events in town. The Isabella Santos Foundation 5K, 10K & Fun Run for Kids Cancer event presented by Red Ventures on September 28 is not just a race – it’s a fun day for the whole family. It will have a Kids Zone loaded with activities and a brunch experience like you have never seen before. Register now for this morning of fun and make an impact on pediatric cancer in Charlotte.
KIDS ZONE
The Kids Zone is the ultimate fun zone to keep your kids entertained. For the creative one, we have arts, crafts and face painting galore. Sports fan? Sure we can cover that too with soccer darts, soccer shots, bounceables, climbing and more. Older kids or gamers can take advantage of the game trucks and funnel cakes. Of course don’t forget about your favorite mascot, princess and superheroes… no kid is too old for these photo opps!
BRUNCH
Run, walk, skip or hop… and brunch! The newly added brunch option provided by Firebirds Wood Fired Grill will be waiting to to fill those bellies. We aren’t talking about just donuts and simply eggs and bacon. How does 
chicken and waffle sandwiches with honey hot sauce sound? How about fried green tomatoes with country ham, goat cheese, and pepper jelly? Beignets, biscuit and pancake stations anyone? That is just a small sample of the incredible brunch menu Firebirds Executive Chef Steve is creating! There will be several specialty Tito’s Vodka drinks and beer from our favorite Charlotte Brewery NoDa Brewing available.
Be warned, tickets for the brunch (just like race registration) will be more expensive the day of the event and you will need a brunch wristband to participate in filling your belly! For those who do not want to run or walk in the event, you can just purchase brunch tickets as well.
