Get your ballerinas ready and grab tickets for your entire family to Charlotte Youth Ballet’s (CYB) Coppelia, performed by the Charlotte Youth Ballet in collaborations with Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico and the Mauro Ballet Company of Puerto Rico. This is a family-friendly event not to be missed!
The delightful tale of Coppelia presents a budding romance between two young villagers, Franz and Swanilda, alongside the curious working of their eccentric neighbor Dr. Coppelius. Dr. Coppelius, a mad inventor has created a beautiful life-like doll. Infatuated at the sight of the inventor’s new doll, “Coppelia”, Frantz sneaks into Dr. Coppelius’ workshop and mayhem ensues! Following the show, audience members will have the opportunity to meet the cast during a free autograph and photograph meet and greet.

Performance Tickets & Pricing:
Single tickets for Coppélia range from $15-$30 and are sold execlusively through the Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Box Office. Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone or in person at the CPCC Box Office. The CPCC Box Office is located in the lobby of the Overcash Building at 1206 Elizabeth Avenue and is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Ticket prices* for Coppélia are arranged by seating area:
– Front Orchestra/Rear Orchestra – $30
– Seniors (55+), Students, Children (under 15) – $15, All Seats
– Girl Scouts – $12, All Seats
Each performance is approximately two hours with a 15-minute intermission. While there is not an age restriction on attendance, most children 4 and older will enjoy the full-length performance best. However, toddlers and preschoolers can thoroughly enjoy the Friday morning preview performance.
Performance Theater & Parking:
All performances of Coppélia will be held at the Halton Theater in uptown Charlotte located at 1206 Elizabeth Avenue. Just inside the Overcash Building, the Halton Theater has two seating levels: beginning with the Front Orchestra at the same level as the stage and ascending upwards to the Rear Orchestra. A limited number of box seats are also available. All seats offer excellent views of the stage.

Parking is available free of charge at the CPCC Faculty & Theater Deck, just behind the Halton Theater. The entrance to the parking deck is on 4th Street at 1225 E. 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
