The entire Smarty team is PUMPED about SouthPark Mall’s newest jewel, Kendra Scott. I am sure most of you have heard of this fabulous Texas-based jewelry line – we are SO lucky to be getting our very own store right here in the QC.
Kendra Scott is known for its statement necklaces and earrings, but it also has the most beautiful delicate pieces as well. Smarty Jen P. and I were able to catch a sneak peek at the store last night (I might’ve picked up a pair of earrings, but let’s not tell the hubs). One word: Gorgeous. The store is so feminine, so colorful, and so fun. My ten-year-old daughter came along for the ride, and was totally smitten with the Kendra Scott Color Bar (so were Jen and I), an interactive station where you can pick out your very own earrings, necklace, and bracelets from a zillion different styles and stone colors. Once you make your selection, your piece is made right there in the store for you. Instant gratification. Love.
One of the best parts of Kendra Scott is its philanthropic philosophy – it strives to connect to the community and constantly hosts local charity events. Kendra Scott Charlotte’s “soft” opening is this weekend – sounds like that perfect way to escape a house full of visiting relatives over the holiday weekend, right? They’ll be giving away a pair of Danielle Earrings in white Mother-of-Pearl to the first 50 customers who spend $50 (pre-tax). A mimosa bar and Polka Dot cupcakes are included – need we say more?
