Today’s Smarty Summer Camp Guide is brought to you by our friends at Foreign Language League.
Hola, Ni Hao, Bonjour, Ciao! Is your child interested in learning a new language? Let your child be immersed in the Language of your choice this summer! Our friends at Foreign Language League are offering Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Italian Immersion Summer Camp Programs. There is no better way to be introduced to a language or reinforce what your children have learned all year long than in three hours full of fun activities, music, games and cultural knowledge. No experience necessary, just the desire to have fun in a foreign language!
About Foreign Foreign Language League:
FLL uses several different methods to effectively teach their classes. Total Physical Response (TPR) exposes children to a new target language using activities that provide a variety of ways to absorb and respond to a language before speaking it. The Rassias Method exposes learners to a new language through dramatic communication and the Multiple Intelligence Theory suggests learners acquire new information in a variety of ways such as musical, verbal, tactile and visual. Their goal is for children and adults to have fun while learning their target language.
Through Foreign Language League Summer Camps, kids ages 2-5th grade (depending on location) will learn a new language in a fun and dynamic environment. Foreign Language League is hosting these immersion camps all over the QC: Dance Productions Gastonia, Myers Park Baptist Church, Charlotte Preparatory School, Gymboree Play and Music (Ballantyne) and Charlotte Country Day.
