The winter months can be brutal on your skin. Since moving to Charlotte from the tropics of Florida years ago, I have battled eczema with my super duper dry skin. After many trial and error efforts, I found the perfect marriage of Philosophy body emulsion and Cetaphil cream.
My dermatologist has always recommended Cetaphil for my dry skin. It works awesome but is so boring since it’s fragrance free. I decided to try a little experiment with my favorite smelly lotions. I had to test any and all scented lotion on my skin before combining with the tried and true Cetaphil.
My favorite combination is Philosophy’s Amazing Grace body firming emulsion and Cetaphil cream. It smells so fresh and clean and not overpowering, so you can use and still wear your favorite perfume. My second favorite is Philosophy’s Pure Grace body firming emulsion, this smells a little more summery as my kids tell me it smells kind of like sunscreen. I love both.
Bottom line, Cetaphil mixed with your favorite scented lotion could be the perfect combo for your skin. Just make sure you try it out first and rule out any allergic reactions.
You’ll love the consistency and weight for the winter months. I am proud to report that I have been eczema free for two years now thanks to my hydration regimen. You can find Philosophy at Nordstrom and Belk and Cetaphil at your local drug store. This should last you for two months, perfect to get you through the winter.
