Meet Santa and Support Counseling for Kids with Cancer & Disease
Who: Mitchell’s Fund (www.mitchellsfund.org)
What: Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts, face painting, fairy hair, raffle, silent auction and more. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit Mitchell’s House and counseling for kids with cancer and rare disease.
When: Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9-11 a.m.
Where: Myers Park United Methodist Church at 1501 Queens Road. Free parking is available in the lot on Hopedale Avenue.
Cost: $30 single ticket includes breakfast, professional photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus to be downloaded by the guest after the event, pastries, coffee, hot cocoa, crafts, silent auction, fairy hair and more. Kids age 2 and under are free. Purchase tickets at https://mitchellsfund.org/events/
Host: Mom and media personality, Morgan Fogarty, anchor of WCCB @ 10.
Details: Children should bring their wish lists to share with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event will be filled with holiday magic and celebration as families enjoy an event with something for everyone. There will be a raffle, and silent auction featuring over 100 items including local vendors, luxury vacations, jewelry, and so much more.
Proceeds benefit Mitchell’s House, a project of Mitchell’s Fund, and a safe place offering counseling and play therapy services to children with serious illnesses, their parents and siblings. When a child is diagnosed, medical trauma can impact the entire family who can become anxious, overwhelmed and exhausted. Mitchell’s House offers services regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
Free professional photos will be offered to all families who participate. The family will have all usage and printing rights for the photos. Mitchell’s Fund will provide a QR code to a private website where event participants can access and download their photos.
