Smarties, we are thrilled to share that our friend Molly Grantham has a new book launching Sunday.
Molly is a mom to three kids, an Emmy award-winning anchor and investigative reporter for WBTV Charlotte. She has been named TV News Reporter of the Year for both Carolinas, one of Charlotte’s top “40 under 40,” and one of Mecklenburg County’s “50 Most Influential Women.” Molly has written two books- Small Victories: The Off-Camera Life of an On-Camera Mom, and The Juggle Is Real – The Off-Camera Life of an On-Camera Mom.
In her first two books, Molly expands on Facebook posts she started writing, shortly after giving birth to her second child. Each is a collection of entries that bring the reader along for realistic, humorous accounts of how to love your career and your children. Her story is raw and relatable (and sometimes hilarious) as she shares the roller coaster of life from the joys and chaos of motherhood to experiencing the loss of her own mother.
Molly’s newest book (book number three) will be her final installment in the ongoing series sharing how Molly balanced motherhood, a successful career, a surprise baby, and the pandemic. Beginning in April 2020, the book reminds us that we can all relate to being imperfect.
I had the privilege of getting a glimpse into the first few pages, and I can’t wait to read the whole thing. When you read Molly’s writing, you feel like you’re curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and your best friend. You feel seen, heard, and not alone. Molly’s writing draws you in and wraps around you like a warm, validating hug. She’s a true gem.
