Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring people of diverse backgrounds to explore beyond their boundaries through dance and circus arts. Instruction is offered with the goals of encouraging and inspiring creativity, innovation, and dedication while training dancers to be expressive on the ground and in the air. Students will receive a unique experience while improving their health and fitness.

Recreation Camps (Grades K-12)
Our circus & dance camps are recreational, no experience is required. Campers will have instruction in dance, acrobatics, and aerial skills. There will be a short show and tell performance on the last day of camp where campers can show what they have learned, and parents can snap a few photos.

Intermediate Camp (Grades 3-12)
This circus & dance camp is an opportunity for students who have some circus and dance experience and want to get a little bit more out of camp. Campers will have instruction in dance, acrobatics, and aerial skills. Throughout the two-week experience, they will work together to create a show they will present to family and friends on the last day of camp.

Ages: Rising Grades 3 – 12
Creation Lab Summer Intensive (Ages 8+)
Summer Circus & Dance Creation Lab is a three-week program that culminates in a performance. Students will choose their technique classes in dance and circus arts such as contemporary dance, jazz, hip-hop, aerial silks, trapeze, lyra, juggling, and acrobatics.
Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center is looking for team-focused, emerging artists who are a minimum age of 8 and rising to Grade Level 3. This training and performance opportunity is open to adults. They are looking for students who want to improve their technique and dance and circus arts as well as collaborate on the creation of a show.
Dates: July 17 – August 6 (3 weeks)
Ages: 8 and older
