Matthews Playhouse of the Performing Arts is proud to present “Scrooge! The Musical,” a lively adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol that Broadway World calls a “holiday masterpiece…brimming with Christmas spirit.” The production features uplifting musical numbers, show-stopping choreography, beautiful period costumes, and rousing performances from some of Charlotte’s most notable actors.
Performance dates are Dec. 8-18 at the Fullwood Theatre at Matthews Community Center. Ticket prices range from $18-$26 and are selling quickly. More information on performance times and tickets can be found here.
The Dec. 8 performance is a “Pay-What-You-Can Performance” benefiting C.O.S. Kids, a non-profit child care organization based in Matthews. Seating is first come/first serve and a suggested donation of $10 will be collected at the door. Appropriate for ages 8 and up.
