Smarties, you don’t have to wait until spring or summer for your child to enjoy the camp life! Our friends at YMCA Camp Harrison are hosting a holiday weekend for kid ages 6-16 on Dec. 9-11. They’re open for registration now!
My 6-year-old son Wade had a blast at his first big boy camp experience last July at Camp Harrison and is already signed up again for next summer. But when I told him there was a holiday camp coming up soon, he jumped at the chance to go back. When I told him some of the holiday fun would include: decorating cookies, making snowman ornaments and playing Christmas trivia, he was all in! Camp Harrison Winter Weekend 2023: Dec. 9-11
Camp Harrison’s Weekend Camps give kids the chance to get active, make friends and explore the outdoors from Friday night to Sunday morning!
Using the same successful health and safety precautions implemented for summer overnight camps, campers will practice frequent handwashing and only socialize and do activities with their cabin groups. Give your child a change of scenery this school year, which will contribute to their growth in spirit, mind and body.
